The LARC! Paradise Tour

Departs Monday, Wednesday & Saturday – full day**

This award-winning 1770 LARC! Paradise Tour includes:
– Sand-boarding down the towering dunes of Middle Island
– Visit Bustard Head light-station the only one in Queensland that is open to the public and get an interpretive tour through the head light-keepers cottage
– Guided walk to the Bustard Head light-station graveyard
– Morning tea and picnic lunch with billy tea, coffee and LARC! juice
– Breath-taking scenery and panoramic views, Australian wildlife spotting, and historical and environmental commentary

Full payment is required at time of booking.
*Extras: In addition to the above rates, a Parks and Wildlife Fee of $11 is payable per person at check-in (for Paradise Day Tours only). This fee does not apply to infants.
The extra $11 charge on the Paradise Tour ticket price is a $9.00 Bustard Head Light-Station Association Heritage Management Charge and a $2.00 Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service fee for time spent within the Bustard Head and Middle Island sections of the Eurimbula National Park

The Afternoon 1HR LARC! Cruise

1770 LARC Afternoon Cruise departs daily on demand**

As the sun approaches the horizon signalling the end of another beautiful day, experience the peaceful solitude & changing moods of our tropical paradise. This one hour cruise takes in the magic of Round Hill Creek and Eurimbula National Park with its wildlife and magnificent views of Round Hill Head and the coastline. It is the perfect way to experience the delights of 1770 and the thrill of our unique amphibious vessels.

LARC! & Lunch Cruise

Departs Sundays: 11:00am – 1:00pm

Ride on the iconic pink LARC vessels in the Town of 1770 and have a picnic lunch on the sand.

The 2 hour LARC! + Lunch Tour travels along the coastline of Eurimbula National Park and pauses for a picnic lunch amidst the magnificent views of Round Hill Head and Bustard Bay. The unique amphibious LARC vessels are an ideal craft to enjoy cool breezes and amazing views whilst the surrounding environment becomes incredibly accessible!  Your experienced skipper will relay details on the history of the area and you will tour the coastline of the Town of 1770, the Birthplace of Queensland. LARCing sandbar fun, wildlife and bird-life viewing with lunch and refreshments offshore, what a great way to enjoy this tropical paradise!

LARC! Goolimbil Walkabout Tour

Departs Tuesdays and Fridays: 9:30am – 11:30am

After 14 months of research, planning and development, 1770 Larc Tours have launched a brand new tour in the Town of 1770 – the Goolimbil Walkabout Tour.

Enjoy a theatrical experience and learn about the wonderful culture that lived here sustainably for tens of thousands of years. Get an authentic Indigenous hunting, gathering and tasting experience of a lifetime! Go back to a time that pre-dates the arrival of Lt James Cook in the Town of 1770.

Travel on the Larc across the beautiful Round Hill Creek, to the coastline of Eurimbula National Park, where you will disembark and take a bush-walking tour with the skipper and an Indigenous guide.

What are the terms and conditions?

Cancellation Policy:
– Cancellation incur a 20% cancellation fee.
– Cancellation inside 72 hours of departure or no show on day of tour 100% non refundable.
– If cancellation is due to legitimate reasons (sickness etc) we are happy to offer a voucher for cancelled tour valid for 6 months.
– If customer wishes to transfer tour booking on day of departure – $25 per person administration fee
– If tours are cancelled by 1770 Environmental Tours due to rough weather policy, tour is fully refundable.
