Fancy a picnic in Agnes Water or the Town of 1770?
Looking for some National Parks and picnic grounds in Agnes Water and 1770? There are some fantastic parks and reserves to explore! If you’re looking for the perfect place for a family BBQ, the parks below all have BBQ facilities provided:
1770 (near camping ground)
In the Town of 1770, there is Endeavour Park and the Air Sea Rescue Park, of which both have free BBQ’s, water views, maintained lawns and are both amongst beautiful Australian bush. SUP boards can be hired from the Air Sea Rescue Park daily for just $25 an hour. Plenty of seating and gazebos to choose from!
Workman’s Beach has a camping area with a 200m track to the beach. Free BBQ facilities, drop toilet, cold shower and taps. Just past the Agnes Water Museum on Springs Road – look for the big blue sign that reads “Camping Area”.
Agnes Water Playgrounds
There is a playground next to the Skate bowl on Springs Road, and the other playground is located at the Main Entrance to Agnes Water Beach at Tom Jeffery Park. There’s free BBQ’s at Tom Jeffrey Park.
Agnes Water Skate Park
Located 100 metres past the Agnes Water Museum on Springs Road, complete with play area for kids, toilets and tap water. Great little skate bowl!
