Frequently Asked Questions

What is the chance of seeing dolphins?
You will be paddling around the headland of Sir Joseph Banks conservation reserve and open ocean, which is the perfect habitat for our wide variety of resident dolphins and turtles. It is highly likely you will see some of these magnificent creatures but we are in Mother Nature’s hands, so sightings are not guaranteed.

Will I get wet?
There is a good chance, considering sea kayaking is a water sport! It’s always a good idea to bring a change of clothing and a towel with you, just in case.

How fit do I need to be?
All ages and fitness levels are welcome! We cater to all people of different fitness levels, including disabled and incapacitated, along with kids, and even people who have never kayaked before.

Are non-swimmers welcome?
Yes, as long as you can doggy-paddle. Life jackets are provided for everybody.

What do I need to bring with me?
Water bottle, sunscreen, camera, towel, swimmers, cash, dry bag if you’ve got a phone/electronics you don’t want to get wet, a sense of adventure and a big smile!
