Deepwater Hike & Camp 2 days/1 night
Deepwater Hike & Camp is just that… a 2 day/1 night hike and Camping adventure (extra nights available). The Hike is unguided and starts in Agnes Water and goes along a beach trail then through and along the beach in Deepwater National Park to a private property in Deepwater where there is a camp set up which currently has 5 permanent tents decked out with stretchers, tables and chairs, an undercover Kitchen/Cooking area, toilet and hot shower, Power and lights throughout the camp and a fire place with camp fire cooking equipment. There is a camp host at Camp making sure you have everything you need, keeping the camp tidy, and making sure the fire is stoked at night. Pack yourself a picnic lunch, hat, drink, camera, sunscreen and swimmers and let us take the rest of your luggage to the camp for you.
There are options of where the you would like to start the walk, ranging from 3-7 hours walking time. The property is approx 800 meters off the beach with private access to the Beach. You will have the option on day 2 to hike home or get a 4×4 ride back to Agnes Water.

Day 1 : We have several options when it comes to the distance of the Hike: For Professional hikers we have a 7 hour Hike, and there is a drop off spot about 5 hours from Camp, and a 3 hour Hike for those who want to have a smaller hike along the beach and still enjoy a picnic and swim before getting to Camp. At Camp the time is yours to just relax, spend time on the beach, Spend some time at Deepwater Creek, hike our moutain “Toowong Hill” and enjoy the fantastic views, or just hang at the camp, play some badminton, soccer or other activities we will have there. From the Camp there is a short walk to Deepwater Creek where it’s possible to do some fishing or just enjoy it’s serenity. At night you can take your torch and head to the beach to look for turtles (in Season Nov-Mar) We do have an old 4×4 there that can take you for a ride up the hill or to the beach as well. Enjoy the Camp fire at night. You can bring your own dinner to cook, all cooking equipments are there and you can even cook on the fire if you wish. There is an option to buy a cooked meal from the Camp host.
